2. Humane Removal and Family Reunification
- We use specialized, humane traps placed at the entry point or employ deterrents to encourage the raccoon to leave voluntarily.
- For a mother and kits, we prioritize using passive methods and deterrents to convince the mother to relocate her young herself. If necessary, we carefully remove the kits by hand and use them as bait in a safe, sealed reunion box placed outside. The mother will locate and relocate her young to a pre-existing den site away from your property.
3. Permanent Exclusion and Sealing
- Once all raccoons are confirmed removed, we repair and reinforce the damaged entry point using heavy-gauge metal flashing, wire mesh, and durable sealants.
